Costa Rica rain forests are some of the most scenic in the world and this lucky country also has some beautiful stretches of coastline. Punt arenas: This word means sandy point in Spanish. It is a beautiful seaport which lies on the Pacific coast. The beach is close to several reserves and national parks, like Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The beach area has some of the most delicious fresh seafood in Costa Rica, as well as a colorful boardwalk with vendors selling handicrafts. This is a great place for a last minute holiday getaway.
Mal Pais and Santa Teresa: Both of these beach towns are a bit difficult to reach, but it's worth driving down the bumpy roads through the clouds of dust to the tip of the Nicoya peninsula for a last minute vacation rental. The town's remoteness has kept the beaches pristine and the wilderness thriving.
Montezuma: It is also a great beach and enjoyable. This classic backpacker spot is located at the southern end of the

Playa Tamarindo: It is the home to the hottest ocean-side nightlife and this area is filled with more entertainment activities. It has become increasingly affluent. It is a blast and should be considered for a last minute vacation.
Playa Conchal: It is otherwise known as a true paradise with a tiny beach covered with a fine layer of crushed seashells which makes one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Through crystal clear waters you can enjoy the beach.
Manzanillo: This beautiful beach coast is postcard ready. The white powder sands will feel smooth and warm under your feet as you head towards the turquoise waters. Put this on your list for last minute vacation getaways.
