Waikiki Beach vacations are very popular last minute vacations. This particular beach is located on the island of Oahu and has always been quite popular among vacationers. Waikiki means spouting fresh water in the Hawaiian language because it was originally separated from the interior by the wetlands that were fed by springs and streams.
